Sources: No. 3 player in 2020 high school basketball class pushes back commitment date
LOS ANGELES — Prolific Prep (Napa, California) standout Jalen Green,
the third-ranked player in the 2020 high school basketball class, is
pushing back his commitment date and will make his college decision at
the end of his senior season, sources told Yahoo Sports.

originally announced he would pick his college destination on Christmas
17, is now electing to finish the upcoming season to see which colleges
some of his peers commit to. He also wants to further study the playing
styles of his top choices and monitor which college players declare
early for the 2020 NBA draft before deciding his collegiate destination,
five-star recruit who is projected by some to be the third overall pick
of the 2021 NBA draft will take his final official visit to Fresno

Green played for Team WhyNot on Nike’s Elite Youth Basketball League this past summer and averaged 18.2 points per game.
