Live from New York, it’s Saturday night! Season 48 of Saturday Night Live premiered on Oct. 1, and showrunner Lorne Michaels has yet to disappoint with his choice of show hosts and musical guests. Actor Pedro Pascal hosted SNL on Feb. 4, alongside musical guest Coldplay who has performed seven times! Pedro is one of the hottest actors on the Hollywood scene as he stars in two huge TV series: The Mandalorian and The Last of Us. The latter, an adaptation of a popular video game, debuted on HBO in January and is a ratings juggernaut for the cable network. Meanwhile, Chris Martin and his band Coldplay will be performing over the Grammy weekend, which is fitting for the superstar group, who was nominated three times for the 2023 ceremony.

To kick off this season, Top Gun: Maverick actor Miles Teller, 35, hosted the Oct. 1 episode with Kendrick Lamar as the musical guest. “It’s really exciting. You’re working with the absolute best of the best, so you feel well taken care of, but it is, it’s a lot. It’s a whirlwind,” Miles told NBC4 ahead of his big debut.

This season of SNL comes after a handful of cast members announced their departures from the show. Cast members Alex MoffatMelissa Villaseñor, and featured player Aristotle Athari exited after Season 47, along with Kate McKinnonAidy Bryant, Kyle Mooney, and Pete Davidson. Chris Redd also confirmed to PEOPLE that he was saying goodbye to the show on Sept. 20.

Saturday Night Live will welcome the one and only Woody Harrelson to the stage on Saturday, Feb. 25 for the fifth time! The official Instagram for the show announced the True Detective star’s return to the popular sketch show on Feb. 16, via Instagram. “Coming up!” they captioned the post-it notes of Woody and Coldplay’s names.

In a promo for the upcoming episode, SNL also featured a montage of Woody’s prior times on the show, including his 1989, 1992, 2014 and 2019 appearances. The 61-year-old also took a stroll down Studio 8H and honored many of the prior hosts in a separate promotional video for the Feb. 25 episode. In that same clip, Woody called Matthew McConaughey, 53, his “weed guy” upon seeing a photo of him hosting a prior episode. The two also star in True Detective together.

The Musical Guest For The Episode Is Jack White

Rock legend Jack White will take the stage on Feb. 25 for another time, as he has performed on SNL various times. During a promo for the episode, he and Woody teamed up to create excitement for the show, which was also shared via Instagram on Feb. 23. The duo was also joined by series regular Chloe Fineman, who joked about working with Woody multiple times. When the “Seven Nation Army” hitmaker asked if they had worked together before, Woody joked about how often Chloe keeps begging. “Or Woody tells Chloe to stop asking him to do a movie together,” he said in the sketch.
