The new documentary tells Thich Nhat Hanh’s life story using original photographic and film archives.
Plum Village has announced the global premiere of “A Cloud Never Dies,” a new biographical documentary of the late Vietnamese Buddhist monk and founder of the Engaged Buddhism movement, Thich Nhat Hanh, who died on January 22, 2022. The film will premiere online April 2 on Youtube. The documentary tells Thich Nhat Hanh’s life story using original photographic and film archives, and is narrated by actor Peter Coyote.
The documentary will highlight Thich Nhat Hanh’s life, telling the story of how “In the face of violence, fear, and discrimination, Thich Nhat Hanh’s courageous path of engaged action reveals how insight, community, and a deep aspiration to serve the world can offer hope, peace, and a way forward for millions.”
The film will be available to view on Youtube on Saturday, April 2 at 9 a.m. EST on the Plum Village Youtube channel.
