Aer Lingus resumes Dublin-Miami flights
Carrier to increase flight frequency from October 31

Aer Lingus is resuming direct flights to Miami from today (October 21) after a two-and-a-half year pause.
Initially the carrier will offer two weekly flights before adding an extra flight from October 31. Fares lead in from £219 each way including taxes and charges as part of a return journey.
UK customers can make use of the Miami service by connecting via Dublin from eight UK airports: Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Bristol and Leeds Bradford.
US Immigration pre-clearing is available at Aer Lingus’ Dublin hub, enabling customers to “avoid lengthy immigration queues” in the US, said the airline.
Susanne Carberry, Aer Lingus Chief customer officer, said: “As the only carrier to operate direct flights to Miami from Ireland, we also cater to the UK and European markets given the seamless connections we offer travellers transiting via Dublin.
“Restarting our Miami service is further proof of our ambition to continue to grow our North American network.”
The news comes after Aer Lingus announced it would resume routes to Cleveland, Ohio, and Hartford, Connecticut, next summer.
Aer Lingus operates 16 direct routes between Ireland and North America, including New York, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orlando, Washington, Seattle, and Philadelphia.
