Agents and operators join Isle of Man Travel Trade Association

Travel agents and tour operators have joined forces under the newly established Isle of Man Travel Trade Association.

Mann Link Travel spearheaded the body’s creation with the hope of promoting collaboration among travel businesses, encouraging innovation and driving sustainable growth in the sector.

The membership list includes representatives from agency and operator Mann Link Travel, Hays Travel and Travel Counsellors.

Mann Link Travel chairman Brian Kelly (pictured) said: “Our collective commitment is to elevate our important role within the travel sector on the Isle of Man for both the [outbound] traveller and the inbound visitor.”

The association, which was officially launched last month, wants to allow members to share best practice while they help each other navigate industry challenges.

Among the key objectives is to give the island’s travel sector a collective voice, with education being another pillar of the group.

Members will be given resources to help them keep up to date with industry trends and maximise the potential for “continuous growth and improvement”.

So far, members are drawn from Mann Link Travel, Duke Travel, Travelworld (Ramsey) Ltd, Thompson Travel, Travel Counsellors, Hays Travel, Perfect Getaways, Vannin Travel, IOM Events, Elite Voyages, Manx Travel, Amazing Vacations and Holidaysplease.
