This e-commerce giant is all geared up to support UK creative industry by giving Apprenticeships and Traineeships, investing more than £4.2bn.

Amazon is renowned as the leading contributor to the UK’s creative industries. It has emerged with the robust news of funding 350 apprenticeships and traineeships across TV, film, and books to prosper future talent. 

Besides that, Amazon also offers roles across the board to young talent, It includes logistics, operations, engineering, supply chain management, and more.

An independent macroeconomic consultancy, Capital Economics, put forward a survey. According to it, Amazon’s investments supported over 16,000 jobs in 2022. 

Amazon covers 50% of multiple job ranges in all regions of the UK. Thereby, integrating directly employed in-house designers as well as indirectly employed external producers. 

This giant tech has invested over £4.2 billion since 2010. This wide array includes Gov apprenticeships, Amazon Fashion, Amazon Games, Law Apprenticeships, Amazon Publishing, Accounting Apprenticeships, and Kindle Direct Publishing. 

Traineeships

According to new statistics, since 2010, Amazon’s investments have bestowed £4.8 billion of gross value added (GVA) on the UK economy. In the last five years, Amazon has expanded its investment across the UK in the creative industries. That funding reflects support for more UK-based creatives and the track record of Amazon Originals films—additionally, the state-of-the-art facilities for Prime Video, Amazon Music, and Audible.
