Ambassador Cruise Line to drop all Covid requirements

Proof of vaccination rule to be scrapped from June 22

Ambassador Cruise Line to drop all Covid requirements

Ambassador Cruise Line will drop all Covid vaccination requirements from June 22.

The line currently requires all passengers to show proof of two vaccinations prior to boarding.

However, that rule will be dropped from Thursday, meaning passengers who have had zero vaccinations will be welcomed on board.

The line warned Covid requirements may differ for some itineraries due to entry restrictions from host countries, but ensured passengers it will explain any requirements to those booked on.

The company said: “Although many of the restrictions have now been lifted, we continue to recommend that guests travelling with us have two doses of a UK Government-approved vaccine.

“Although they are not required to take a lateral flow test before sailing with us, guests displaying Covid-19 symptoms within 72 hours of departure are encouraged to take a test at home as a courtesy to their fellow travellers.”
