BA Euroflyer to operate flights to Lapland and Larnaca this winter
Twice-weekly Gatwick to Ivalo service to begin on December 3
BA Euroflyer will begin operating flights to Lapland and Larnaca this winter.
From December 3, the airline will fly from Gatwick to Ivalo, Finland every Tuesday and Friday until February 14, 2025.
Return fares are available from £345 and include skiing or snowboarding equipment for those visiting the destination for that reason.
Additionally, the airline will operate daily flights to Larnaca in Cyprus from November 4, meaning the destination will be served by both Gatwick and Heathrow in the winter season.
BA Euroflyer chief executive Tom Stoddart said: “Our BA Euroflyer network continues to grow and we are excited for a new addition to our winter schedule alongside the likes of Innsbruck and Geneva.
“Lapland is synonymous with winter and Ivalo is blanketed in snow for a large part of the year so customers can expect a white Christmas with some red and blue sprinkles in from British Airways for good measure.”
