Details of two new Club Med resorts in the French Alps have been unveiled to kick off winter sales opening for the 2022-23 ski season.

The resorts in Tignes and Val d’Isere are aimed families, with childcare available from four months to 17 years old, including ski lessons from four years.

The all-inclusive operator if offering discounts of between 15% and 20% in a flash sale of holidays for next winter for bookings made by Thursday (January 27). Children under four stay for free in all ski resorts and those under six in winter sun resorts.

Club Med predicts the winter 2022-23 ski season will be the busiest on record following three seasons of Covid disruption.

The projection follows two record-breaking weeks of sales for the remainder of this season, with revenue figures claimed to be up 245% compared with the same period in pre-pandemic 2019.

Tignes prices for seven nights start at £1,995 per person with a discount of £244, based on flights from Heathrow departing on December 11, 2022. 

A £458 discount gives Val d’Isere prices for a week starting at £2,211pp with flights from Stansted departing March 5, 2023.

The new 4T Club Med Tignes will be located at 2,100m altitude with 405 rooms and 25 suites offering ski-in/ski-out facilities, spa and indoor swimming pool.

Club Med’s first 5T Exclusive Collection resort in the mountains at Val d’Isere is due to open on December 18 following a €47.5 million renovation and expansion, including 91 new deluxe rooms with balconies, 95 new spacious deluxe rooms, and 30 suites.

Facilities range from a Yoga school and swimming pool to spa and gym. The resort will also feature ski-in ski-out facilities, private and group lessons, ski touring, paragliding and ice skating.
