Crystal expands UK sales team with two appointments

Crystal has expanded its UK and EMEA sales teams with two appointments.

Danny Giles, who previously held sales roles at Ponant, Silversea Cruises and Hurtigruten over 14 years, will join the line’s UK team as regional sales manager for the north on November 6.

He will be responsible for “revitalising and building strong connections” with new and existing agents across the Scotland, North of England and Ireland.

Giles will report to Stephen Joyner, Crystal’s senior sales manager for the UK & Ireland.

Stefan Nicodemus will join the EMEA sales team as regional sales manager for Northern Europe on November 1.

He will be in charge of driving trade sales performance and expanding the market presence of Crystal within Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux and Scandinavia.

Nicodemus has spent more than 30 years working in the travel industry, including 23 years with Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, and he will report to Michael Steffl, Crystal’s EMEA director of trade sales.

These appointments come after the luxury line added three sales managers to its team last month.
