Disney Cruise Line reveals 2022 winter deployment plans

Disney Cruise Line has unveiled its winter deployment plans, featuring all five vessels, in 2022.

The Disney ships will sail out of Florida, New York, Texas and California, starting from September next year and running to January 2023.

Disney Wonder will offer ‘Halloween on the High Seas’ cruises to the Baja Peninsula from San Diego. The cruises range from three to seven nights.

Disney Magic (pictured) returns to New York in late September for a series of Halloween-themed sailings to Bermuda and Canada.

Disney Magic’s programme includes a six-night cruise to the Canadian ports of New Brunswick and Halifax includes a stop in Bar Harbor, Maine.

From late November, Disney Magic will be based in Galveston, Texas, where it will sail five and seven-night ‘Very Merrytime Cruises’ in the western Caribbean, calling at Cozumel and Progreso, both Mexico; Jamaica and Grand Cayman.

In autumn 2022, Disney Wish and Disney Fantasy will offer voyages from Port Canaveral, Florida, and Disney Dream will be based in Miami.

The incoming Disney Wish vessel, due to launch in the summer 2022, will offer a series of three and four-night voyages to the Bahamas during its inaugural season that extends into the autumn.

Disney Fantasy will sail six, seven and eight-night holidays to the eastern and western Caribbean.

Disney Dream will offer four and five-night Bahamian itineraries and five-night Caribbean cruises to either Grand Cayman or Cozumel.

All sailings from Port Canaveral and Miami will include a call to Disney’s Private Island, Castaway Cay.

Based in Puerto Rico, Disney Magic will sail a seven-night southern Caribbean sailing, calling at Antigua, St Lucia, Aruba and Bonaire, and a six-night voyage that includes a stop-off to Jamaica.

Bookings open on Thursday next week.
