German National Festival 2024
Last weekend on November, 190 Kadampas from all over Germany participated in the German Festival with Gen-la Kunsang in a beautiful, wintry Tharpaland KMC.

On the last weekend of November, nearly 200 Kadampas from all over Germany participated in the German Festival with Gen-la Kunsang in a beautiful, wintry Tharpaland KMC.
The annual Dharma Festival for Germany took place at Tharpaland KMC. Although it was cold outside, the center looked beautiful, welcoming everyone in a warm glow of light.
During the Festival, Gen-la Kunsang granted the blessing empowerment of Wisdom Buddha Je Tsongkhapa and gave deeply moving teachings on the practice of Guru yoga, based on the texts Heart Jewel and Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche from His Faithful Disciples.
The accompanying meditations on the days of empowerment and teachings were led by Gen Kelsang Lobma of Kadampa Meditation Center Cologne.

The concluding retreat was led by Gen Kelsang Ananda, our National Spiritual Director and Resident Teacher of Tharpaland KMC and KMC Berlin. At the beginning of the sessions, he briefly reminded us of the key points of the teachings and in his warm, humorous way gave very helpful tips for training in trust and faith.
