Japan Airlines aircraft engulfed in flames at Tokyo Haneda airport
Flight was on domestic route from Hokkaido
A Japan Airlines aircraft was engulfed in flames at Tokyo’s Haneda airport today, according to national broadcaster NHK.
Footage showed the aircraft on fire as it came into land.
The aircraft is then seen at a standstill with emergency slides open and people running out as firefighters try to put out the fire.

The domestic flight from Hokkaido was carrying 367 passengers and 12 crew, a Jal spokesperson told the Independent.
All were reported by the airline to have been evacuated.
Local reports suggested that the Airbus A350 may have collided with a Japanese coast guard aircraft.
All flights from Haneda airport have been suspended.
