Jet2 launches new holiday deals for UK airport after easyJet ceases flights
The airline will also fly to six new destinations from the aviation base
Jet2 has launched new holiday offers for Leeds Bradford passengers after easyJet announced it was axing all flights from the West Yorkshire airport.
EasyJet has operated routes from the aviation base since 2010, offering flights to popular destinations including Barcelona, Belfast, Mallorca, Malaga and Paris.
Flights scheduled from now until the new year will continue to operate as scheduled before ceasing on 5 January 2027.
In response, Jet2 has announced it is giving Leeds Bradford airport customers £100 off all holiday bookings, plus 10 per cent off flights, with specific codes.
Both codes will apply to all departures up to and including 31 March 2028 and must be booked by 31 August 2026 – giving customers just 10 days to snap up the deal for upcoming holidays.
Jet2 has also created deals specifically for single-parent families for savings of £100 on holiday bookings, as well as solo travellers, who can save £50 per booking.
The codes can be used via Jet2’s website or with their local independent travel agent when booking a Jet2 holiday or flight.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2, said: “We have been proudly operating from Leeds Bradford airport since 2003, when we launched with just two aircraft, and since then we have grown to become Yorkshire’s leading airline and tour operator.
“Our longstanding commitment to the region has never been stronger and we want to say thank you to our loyal customers and independent travel agent partners by launching these brand-new offers today.”
He added: “Customers deserve the best experience and choice when it comes to their well-deserved holidays and that is what we look forward to continuing to provide from Leeds Bradford for many years to come.”
The airline said it is currently operating its biggest-ever flight itinerary from Leeds Bradford airport, with 65 destinations on sale.
Next year Jet2 will launch six new destinations from the airport in response to continued demand, including Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt, Preveza and Santorini in Greece, Tivat in Montenegro and Enfidha in Tunisia.
