Synopsis: The Worths are a family portrait of dysfunction. When Grandma Mabel (June Squibb) dies suddenly, they must set aside their differences and come together. Mayhem quickly ensues as long buried family secrets bubble to the surface with a shocking revelation. But, as they begin to find their way back to each other, they soon realize that while you can’t choose your family, you can choose to be friends with them.

Bio: Stephanie Laing has eight Emmy nominations and two wins. She just directed all six episodes of the limited series “Mammals” for Amazon Studios. Her second feature film “Family Squares,” which she wrote and directed, is being distributed by Screen Media. Henry Winkler, Judy Greer, June Squibb, Margo Martindale, Tim Simons, Billy Magnussen, and Elsie Fisher star. Laing launched her directing career on HBO’s “Veep.” Most recently she directed the pilot and five episodes of the HBO Max series “Made for Love,” starring Cristin Milioti, Ray Romano, and Magnussen. Laing is also an executive producer on and directed seven episodes of Apple TV’s “Physical,” starring Rose Byrne. She directed and produced the Hulu series “Dollface” with Margot Robbie’s Lucky Chap, and her indie pilot “Bootstrapped” screened at Sundance Film Festival 2019.
