An easy way for profile visitors to book meetings direct.

LinkedIn Adds Calendly Integration for Profile CTA Buttons

A handy one for LinkedIn Premium members, with LinkedIn launching a new integration with Calendly that will enable easy meeting registrations via your LinkedIn profile.

LinkedIn Calendly integration

As you can see in this sequence, with the new Calendly partnership, Premium users can add a custom “Book and Appointment” button to their LinkedIn profile, which will then direct users to your Calendly schedule, where they can select an available time.

That could make it a lot easier to generate leads from LinkedIn, by enabling users who’ve visited your profile to immediately lock in a time to chat.

And LinkedIn says that its custom CTA buttons, which it launched back in 2023, have been helping users generate direct action from their profiles. Well, kind of.

As per LinkedIn:

Since launching custom buttons, we’ve seen over one million Premium subscribers and Enterprise accounts adopt this functionality, enabling viewers to take a desired action like “visit my website,” “book an appointment,” “view my services,” and more. It’s great to see our customers experiencing tangible value, driving an average of 25% more profile views.

I mean, more profile views is not exactly what you want, as you’re really looking to drive visitors to take whatever next-step action you’ve allocated to your custom CTA button. But still, the fact that more people are seeing more engagement as a result of LinkedIn’s profile enhancements could suggest that Premium users are getting more attention, and therefore more opportunity to elicit response via these CTAs.

Either way, it’s a handy update, giving you more capacity to prompt LinkedIn profile visitors to get in contact. Because nobody cares about how many people have viewed their profile, what they want is feedback, response, and opportunities as a result.

That’s not guaranteed with a meeting request CTA button, but having an easy contact option will help.
