Matalan has swiftly expanded its repertoire by introducing 10 new fashion brands to its booming third-party retail lineup, aiming to secure its online presence.
Since its venture into fashion partnerships in September, the omnichannel retailer has seen its third-party portfolio exceed 23 brands. To broaden its array further, Matalan UK aims to incorporate additional lines both in the New Year and during the spring season.
Recent additions to its expanding collection include Quiz, Pink Vanilla, Blue Vanilla, Roman, Yumi, Mela London, Where’s That From, Izabel, Brand Threads, and Toe Zone. Extinctingly, these additions will complement Matalan’s existing in-house brands such as Papaya, Et Vous, Easy, Taylor & Wright, US Athletic, Lincoln, and Souluxe.
According to this clothing brand, these new brands will align with its pricing and product propositions. In addition, it caters to a diverse clientele by offering Matalan dresses in an extensive range of sizes and styles, including plus-size ranges.
However, Matalan‘s focus extends beyond fashion, as it intends to fortify its successful homeware offerings. Furthermore, it will extend its nursery and baby, seasonal and outdoor, and gifting ranges. This enhancement will reinforce the bedding and home furnishing categories, aiming to broaden its sphere of audience.
The brand noted the strong performance of celebrity collaborations. That is because it highlighted the success of debut collections launched in late summer.
Collections such as Vogue Williams for Little Mistress and collaborations with Jac Jossa, Gemma Atkinson, Stacey Solomon, and Jess Millichamp for In The Style garnered significant traction, with select styles selling out within 24 hours of their release.
Moreover, Matalan has announced plans to expand its Rocket Dog boot range in the forthcoming year, following its commendable performance over the past 12 months.
