Palladium Hotel Group appoints business development executive
Simon McDermott tasked with increasing brand awareness among agents
Palladium Hotel Group has appointed Simon McDermott as business development executive for the UK and Ireland.
McDermott has been tasked with promoting the hotel group and increasing brand awareness among agents by organising agency visits, hosting fam trips and attending industry events.
He has more than 30 years’ experience in the industry, having held business development and sales positions at JTA Travel Group, A-Rosa River Cruises, Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours and AmaWaterways.

“I’m extremely excited to have been offered this position at Palladium Group Hotel, a renowned brand with a wonderful portfolio of hotels,” McDermott said.
“The role will provide me with the opportunity to engage with our key tour operator partners and travel agent community and successfully lead the way in expanding our presence in both the UK and Irish markets.”
Nikki Curran will also join Palladium Hotel Group on a part-time basis to support with administration, event planning and fam trips.
