Partnership Travel Consulting Launches Ticket Audits
Partnership Travel Consulting launched through partnerships with Fare Audit Inc. and Cerebri AI a service to audit global distribution and non-GDS sources at the time of booking to ensure clients receive low fares and proper rates.
Travel management consultancy Partnership Travel Consulting has launched a new service auditing global distribution systems and non-GDS sources at the time of booking or ticketing to ensure client travelers are receiving low fares and appropriate rates, the company announced.
Under the terms of the new service PTC through a partnership with auditing service Fare Audit Inc. at the time of booking will conduct an audit of GDSs to assess the travel management company's lowest airfare quote as well as ensure any accompanying hotel reservation, if applicable, receives the corporate negotiated rate. Air reservations made without hotel bookings also will be logged, according to PTC.
Bookings of New Distribution Capability fares will be audited through a partnership with data science startup Cerebri AI at the time of ticketing. Cerebri also compares them with flights offered on carrier websites at the same data and time and in the same cabin class, according to PTC.
"There’s more value in live audits where there’s time to rebook the PNR," PTC founder Andrew Menkes said in a statement.
PTC said it in 2025 would become an equity stakeholder in Fare Audit Inc. Financial terms were not disclosed.
