Ingredients

QUESTIFIED LEMON CAKE WAFFLES

Ingredients:

2 scoops Quest Vanilla Milkshake Protein Powder 2 tbsp gluten free baking flour (1:1) 1 tbsp baking powder 1 egg ½ cup + 2 tbsp almond milk 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp lemon zest 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Lemon Cream

½ cup heavy cream ¼ scoop Quest Vanilla Milkshake Protein 1 tsp lemon zest 1 Quest Lemon Cake Bar, chopped

Method

Prepare a waffle iron with non-stick spray and turn on medium-high heat. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the protein powder, flour and baking powder. In another bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, juice, zest and vegetable oil. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and whisk until smooth. Pour ¼ of the batter into the center of the iron and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Repeat until you have used all the batter. While the waffles cook, place the heavy cream into a mixer and beat on high until stiff peaks form. Stir in the protein and zest until combined. Serve waffles with lemon cream and top with lemon cake bar crumbles.
