Lasarte, based in Eixample
At the Condes de Barcelona hotel, you will find one of the most essential restaurants in the entire of Catalonia and Spain. Lasarte currently has three Michelin stars. Their sampling menu is more than just a few courses, it is a culinary journey which will allow your taste buds to experience more than they ever had.
The place itself is bright and modern, complimenting its incredible gastronomy. This place makes the most of fresh Spanish and Catalan ingredients. Their 12 course tasting menu is €260, they also offer a slightly shorter option for €230.
Lasarte has earned the top prize in the restaurant world, with this place being the first in Barcelona to show off their three Michelin stars. This is down to their chefs; Martín Berasategui and Paolo Casagrande. Both the elegance and creativity of these chefs enables them to offer out some of the most exquisite dishes; apple millefeuille, foie gras, and European eel.

ABaC, in Sarrià- Sant Gervasi
In the luxury boutique Hotel of ABaC, you can find a culinary experience like no other, another restaurant with three Michelin stars. Their chef Jordi Cruz won a third Michelin Star for ABaC in 2017. Cruz, along with his team draw inspiration from flavours across the world. However, the main flavours you can expect to find are from their Spanish-Catalan roots.
Their tasting menu changes frequently to reflect the highest quality products which are available at that moment, and is priced currently at €225. One of Cruz’s expert dishes which sounds simple yet is sophisticated and takes expertise, is his twist on an egg with asparagus. For this dish, he cooks the egg yolk at 62°C, cures it in salt water, and serves it with white asparagus, thin sliced serrano ham, and a spoonful of caviar. This dish is nothing less than breathtaking.

Cocina Hermano Torres, in Les Corts de Sarrià
The Torres brothers, Sergio and Javier are known for their open, educational and cultural kitchen, where the client is the protagonist. They have transformed a one time industrial warehouse into one of Barcelona’s most talked about culinary spaces, with an open kitchen. They pride themselves on cooking through memories, creating cuisine which is based on family recipes and created with seasonal fresh products using contemporary techniques.
This restaurant has one Michelin star and offers two tasting menus, these are €185 and €165 each, or you are able to order a la carte.

Moments, on Passeig de Gràcia
As the winner of two Michelin stars, Moments restaurant continues to win new awards and gain new devotees. They can be found in the Mandarin Oriental hotel on the famous Passeig de Grácia. They provide fresh and healthy cuisine inspired by Catalan culinary culture. The restaurant is managed by chef Carme Ruscalleda and her son Raül Balam. Chef Ruscalleda has won seven Michelin stars for her restaurants in both Spain and Tokyo, making her one of the most famous in the country and offering one of the finest dining experiences in Barcelona.
You can find dishes such as ‘fricando’, a beef fillet, served with scotch bonnet mushrooms, Maresme shrimp with glazed tomato petals, a vegetable medley and toasted pine nuts. Their tasting menu is €189.

Enoteca Paco Pérez, in the Marina
The two Michelin star Enoteca Paco Pérez offers Mediterranean cuisine, where Paco Pérez uses local produce depending on the season to create imaginative cuisine. The restaurant itself has sweeping coastal views, an unpretentious atmosphere and divine dishes.
With everything inspired by its surroundings, you can find exquisite fresh seafood, as well as fresh produce from the mountains and farmland surrounding Barcelona. Don’t forget about their meticulously curated wine cellar, with over 700 references you will not find yourself short of a special bottle. Their tasting menu is €170, or you can order a la carte.

Disfrutar, enjoy yourself in Eixample
Their name, Disfrutar, translating to ‘enjoy’, forebodes the experience that you are going to have. Mateu Casañas, Oriol Castro and Eduard Xatruch have worked and trained together incredibly hard to open both their restaurants; Compartir in Cadaqués and Disfrutar in upscale Eixample.
The restaurant itself has been created inspired by Barcelona, with the entrance area inspired by the colours of Mironian ceramics, the central corridor again with ceramic created with the colours and textures of clay. The kitchen is completely visible to the clients and leads to the main dining room, which is a visibly bright and white space transporting one outside, connecting with their terrace.
At Disfrutar they offer four different tasting menus, ranging from €155 to €195, you won’t be able to view these menus in advance, but they will offer you a godly surprise.

The translation of Koy Shunka to English means ‘intense seasonal aromas’. In this restaurant, the flavours and emotions of Japanese cuisine are displayed through the art of the head master chef, and his team of younger chefs. He combines the classic flavours and textures of Japan with Mediterranean ingredients.
The tasting menu here is around €130. This is the place to book for an unforgettable experience. They currently hold one michelin star and offer the experience of watching your food’s creation by their incredible chefs.
