Synopsis: Get a glimpse into the outrageous lives and loves of those responsible for the global women’s magazine Scarlet. The rising generation of Scarlet women leans on one another as they find their own voices in a sea of intimidating leaders. Together they explore sexuality, identity, love, and fashion.

Bios: Melora Hardin is probably most recognized for her portrayal of Jan Levinson, Michael Scott’s former corporate boss and love interest, on the critically acclaimed NBC series “The Office.” She is also known for her work in the hit USA Network series “Monk.” Additionally, Hardin recurred on Amazon’s Golden Globe-winning Best Comedy “Transparent” in the role of Tammy Cashman, for which she was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2016 for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series. Most recently, Hardin was seen guest starring on NBC’s hit show “The Blacklist” as well as in the ABC miniseries “When We Rise.” She currently stars as Jacqueline Carlyle in the Freeform series “The Bold Type,” playing a strong but kind editor-in-chief at a high-end women’s magazine, which is inspired by the life of Joanna Coles, former editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan.

Wendy Straker Hauser currently serves as an executive producer and co-showrunner of Freeform’s “The Bold Type,” a show she has staffed on since its first season. She penned her first book, “Sexy Jobs in the City: How to Find Your Dream Job Using the Rules of Dating,” based on her personal experience as a single and unemployed New Yorker. The experience led to a weekly column in The New York Post. After four years as a columnist for the Post and penning her second book, she found her stride in television writing. Hauser was an executive story editor on “Beauty and the Beast” for two seasons, and prior to that she was staffed on “The Client List.” Moreover, she was a co-producer for the first season of “The Handmaid’s Tale.”
