Travis Kelce had a lot going on at the moment. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end addressed Sunday's whirlwind post-game celebration after his team took home the AFC Championship title -- and the viral Taylor Swift moment he missed.

While discussing the game and revelry that followed on the New Heights podcast, Travis' brother Jason brought up a heartwarming photo of Taylor and Chiefs coach Andy Reid adorably pointing directly at each other on the field.

"Oh yeah," Travis said with a chuckle, speculating on what the two may have been silently saying to each other. "'Going to the Super Bowl, baby. We're going to the Bowl. We did it!'"

The two actually go way back. Reid has a history of his own with the Swift family after previously serving as the coach of the Philadelphia Eagles from 1999 to 2012. The singer grew up nearby -- on a Christmas Tree farm in West Reading, Pennsylvania -- and her dad, Scott Swift, has been a longtime Birds fan

"Obviously we've already talked about how they kinda know each other from the Philly days," Travis reiterated on Wednesday. "Scott Swift, shout out to big Scott, him and Andy are good friends. It was a cool moment to see afterwards. I didn't get to see it because I was up on stage screaming 'Fight for your right,' but yeah, that was a cool one."

In what has become a tradition for the 34-year-old athlete, Travis delivered a brief but rousing remark from the podium as he received the Lamar Hunt trophy. "You've gotta fight for your right to party," he shouted into the microphone, quoting the classic 1986 Beastie Boys lyric.

Earlier this week, Reid opened up about how long he's known Taylor and couldn't help but rib Travis a little bit with his remarks. During an interview on the Let’s Go! podcast with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray, Reid gushed over the couple and how they've managed to handle an extraordinary amount of attention on them in recent months.

"Listen, she's a good girl and I'm happy for Trav, and there has been no distraction that way at all," he shared. "Trav's handled it right, she's handled it right, and we just move forward, so it hasn't been a problem at all."

The 65-year-old coach also joked that Travis wasn't initially thrilled about his own friendship with the Swift family.

"That was the last thing Trav wanted to hear, that I knew her before him," he cracked. "She told him, 'I know your coach.' And he went, 'No! Come on.'"

After winning the AFC Championship over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, Taylor joined the Kelce family on the field and shared a few celebratory kisses with Travis as the couple publicly exchanged "I love yous" in front of the cameras.

Now, Travis' Chiefs are headed to the Super Bowl on Feb. 11 for the fourth time in five years. The team previously won the Vince Lombardi trophy in 2020, 2023 and, before that, in 1970. This year, they'll face off against the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, for a rematch of their 2020 competition.

"We're gonna have our hands full, baby," Travis said of the upcoming game on New Heights. "It's gonna be a hell of a f**king Super Bowl, I know that."

Elsewhere in the episode, Jason joked that congratulations were in order for Taylor on her first season as a fan in the NFL.

"Shoutout to the newest members of the Chiefs Kingdom, Taylor Swift, who has officially reached the Super Bowl in her rookie year," Jason teased.

The joke drew a big laugh from Travis, who responded with "Shout out to Tay. Thanks for joining the team."
