TTNG appoints homeworker support executive
Group’s expansion plans continue
The homeworking division of The Travel Network Group, Independent Travel Experts (ITE), has appointed Steve Evans (pictured) as a homeworker support executive.
Evans is already a homeworker within the group, and will focus on supporting ITE agents by providing them with both group and individual mentoring.
He will continue in his role as a homeworker, which the company said gives him a “unique perspective” on the role.

ITE has further expansion plans and is recruiting for business development executives to “create bespoke development plans and provide ongoing social media and marketing training and advice to every ITE homeworker”.
Evans said: “After a tough two years working for Amazon to make ends meet, whilst still keeping my travel business afloat, I was over the moon to be offered this role. I’m looking forward to helping the team achieve their goals.”
ITE managing director Gary Gillespie said: “We are delighted to welcome Steve into our team.
“Our homeworkers, like everyone in the industry, have worked tirelessly to look after their customers throughout the pandemic, but with many of them taking on extra jobs to supplement their income, it has been a stressful time both physically and mentally.
“With the market now returning to pre-pandemic levels, we wanted to provide our homeworkers with dedicated additional support to help regain their confidence, brush up on their skills and kick-start their businesses.”
