Beginning June 8, Turkish Airlines and Icelandair will add each other's codes to their flights between Istanbul or Reykjavik and nine destinations, including Amsterdam, Stockholm, Brussels, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Munich, Oslo and London's Heathrow and Gatwick airports. In addition, Icelandair will add Turkish Airlines' code to its flights to Toronto and Vancouver in Canada, according to Icelandair.

As of June 10, Turkish Airlines also will place its code on Vietnam Airlines flights between Da Nang and each Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, while Vietnam's code will be added to Turkish Airlines flights between Istanbul and each Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city.

Beginning July 1, Italy's ITA Airways code will be placed on Turkish Airlines' flights between Rome and Istanbul. Turkish Airlines' code will be placed on nine ITA routes within Italy, including Brindisi, Bari, Catania, Florence, Genoa, Palermo, Lamezia Terme, Turin and Trieste, according to Turkish Airlines.

With these agreements, travelers will be able to use a single ticket and have their luggage checked through to their final destinations.
