Do you remember the Seinfeld episode when George says, “I would drape myself in velvet if it were socially acceptable”? That’s how I’m feeling these days about linen. Banana Republic always has beautiful, classic staples, and I’m especially loving their linen pieces right now, like these crisp pants, above. Here are five more things I want to live in this spring…
First, this linen tee would be perfect for wearing while bopping around on the weekends — to the movies, playground, bagel shop, wherever. The fit is easy and timeless and soooo comfy.
How gorgeous is this linen dress? You could wear it to dinner on a warm evenings (I’m bookmarking it for dates) or pack it for trips. It comes in three pretty colors.
A polo-style sweater makes a great everyday uniform, don’t you think? The linen-blend fabric is really soft, and, with a few buttons undone, it would pair effortlessly with rosy cheeks and jeans.
A boxy linen shirt goes so well with skirts, pants, shorts, even as a swimsuit coverup. (Interestingly, I keep spotting friends wearing linen blazers as coverups in their vacation snapshots! Would you?)
Finally, a wide-leg jumpsuit can be dressed up or down, depending on what shoes you wear, like a pair of sporty sneakers or leather mules. Plus, the belt and pockets!
What would you wear? See the full linen shop here, it’s so good.
Great news: Banana Republic’s semi-annual sale is happening right now, good until March 12th. Get 40% off your full-priced purchase, plus free 2-3 day shipping on orders more than $175, with code BRSHIP. See everything here, including a flowy maxi dress. Exclusions apply.)
