Lea Kyle Quick Changes Into Our Hearts

Lea Kyle has two passions: performing and fashion.

To blend them together, she became a quick change artist, which is essentially like a magician who can transform their ensemble faster than the human eye can see.

The ambitious 25-year-old entertainer performs an incredible set that is next-level ambitious and sees her rocking dozens out outfits that each disappear into each other -- all set to Katy Perry's "Part of Me."

"We've seen quick change artists on this show, but I've never seen one better than you," Howie marvels.

"I am so, like, in shock. You were having a great time while you were doing it. It was beautiful," Sofia gushes.

Simon says the act is "very, very cool" and "world class."

Heidi is more impressed than anyone and says, "We've never really had anyone as good as you, so I feel you should go straight to the live shows," before slamming the Golden Buzzer.

The Sklar Brothers Are Here

The Sklar Brothers are both established comedians. They have had TV shows, and there's just no way they don't know Howie -- or that Howie hasn't met or seen them.

Anyway, they are funny, obviously. Their shtick has been a big hit for a long time. Perhaps this is a career revival? Between this and Josh Blue, its confusing. I mean, I guess professionals are allowed, but it still feels a little unfair to all the comics who don't already have careers.

Needless to say, the Sklar brothers have flawless chemistry and their jokes about raising kids are super funny.

Hilariously, Heidi says she didn't really like them, and she's usually the nice one (next to Sofia).

Simon says it was "unique and different" and he gives them a yes vote. Howie adds to it. Heidi gives a yes because the audience was loving them, and Sofia makes it four.

Gangstagrass Looks to Build Bridges

Gangstagrass is a band looking to blend bluegrass, country and hip-hop, and be an inspiration for building bridges between muscial genres and different communities in America.

"I decided that I wanted to create a band like this, to play for America and bring a message that America can find common ground and get over some of the divisions that we've been experiencing and come together," the group's founder explained before their performance.

Together, the group slayed their audition with an original tune, and Howie says they are "the recipie America has been looking for" and that the band "is emblematic of what America needs right now."

All the judges love it, and Sofia praises how original the tune it. Simon says its impressive that they pulled off such a "great audition" with an original song.

The group ends up getting four yes votes and a whole lot of love from the judges.

Tesla the Dog is Electric

5:20 PM:

In traditional AGT fashion, the show gives us an underwhelming dog act, only to really up the excitement for an amazing one.

Trainer Alexandra knows what she's doing, and her perfectly trained dogs -- one of whom is named Tesla, so I already love it -- know what they are doing as well.

The act gets a standing ovation from all the judges, and Simon says it "might be my favorite dog act this season."

"I think you're going to do really well in this competition. All three of you," Simon says.

All the judges have total adoration for the act, and for the fun Alexandra and her dogs seem to be having, and they earn four enthusiastic yes votes from the impressed judges.

The Empower Pack Don't Quite Inspire Support

5:15 PM:

The empower pack claim to be a dog act that uses tricks to inspire and uplift.

The whole act is Harry Potter themed, but it doesn't seem to go according to plan for parts. 

The judges have seen a lot of dog acts and, even though Simon loves all dogs always, you've really got to impress if you want to get through.

Sofia loves the act, and Heidi does to, but Simon and Howie aren't moved by it. So it ends up going two votes yes and two no, meaning they won't be moving on.

Positive Impact Movement Make a Positive Impact

5:08 PM:

The first act of the night are acrobatic weightlifters, who perform as a troupe called Positive Impact Movement.

They are a crew made of of body builders who have suffered and overcome major injuries, only to show how far they've come on a national stage.

They incorporate weight lifting into a full acrobatic routine set to "Let's Get Physical," and they do the song justice.

"I loved that," Howie says after the number.

At the end of the act, one of the performers holds up an necklace, and it turns out the locket contains the ashes of his late mother, who was both an AGT fan, and the women who inspired him to chase his dreams.

The group get four yes votes and will be moving on.

Last Year's Winner Kicks Off the Night

Tonight's show is kicking off with a moment that is quite a bit more inspiring than last week's car commercial intro!

Last year's winner -- a spoken word poet named Brandon Leake -- opened things up with some powerful words about what it means to be on the show, and it really set the tone for a fun, emotional night.
