Bristol gains Aer Lingus Regional Cork service

Aer Lingus Regional is expanding into Cork with a service to Bristol airport this summer.

Emerald Airlines, operator of the Irish flag carrier’s regional routes, is also introducing a Belfast to Isle of Man connection.

Bristol will be served from Cork six times a week from April 28 and the Belfast-Isle of Man route will operate five times a week from April 24, rising to six flights in the summer peak.

Head of commercial Ciaran Smith said: “Today’s announcement is a much-anticipated one and will no doubt be warmly welcomed by passengers travelling for both business and travel pleasure purposes. 

“We are delighted to be providing increased connectivity from Cork, while also bolstering our Belfast schedule.

“With more flights and more choice for the travelling public, we are progressively bolstering our 2023 schedule, with over 2.5 million seats on sale, across 28 routes and 17 destinations in Ireland, UK and Channel Islands.”
