Caesars Rewards ends status matching to Wyndham Diamond for all unearned matches. But there are still two ways to match your Wyndham Diamond to Caesars Diamond. Here’s how.
On the Caesars Rewards Wyndham Rewards status match page and reported in FBZ Elite – Travel and Points by FianceBuzz Facebook Group, Caesars has recently added this verbiage,
“Please Note: You must have earned Tier Status with your current loyalty program in order for your status to be matched. Caesars Rewards will not grant status to WR members who came into the WR program from a tier match promotion with other programs or who previously had recent Caesars Rewards status that was about to expire, and vice versa.”
This means if you got your Caesars Diamond status from status matching your other hotel status to Wyndham Diamond, you won’t be able to match to Caesars Diamond.
But, you can still match to Caesars Diamond one of two ways.
New Caesars Rewards Member
If you’re a new Caesars Rewards, you can match your casino status to Caesars Diamond. You could match MGM Gold, Wynn Platinum, and other casino loyalty status to Caesars Diamond.
This match is available through December 31, 2022, and gives you Caesars Diamond through January 31, 2023.
This is only for new Caesars Rewards members. If you are currently a Caesars Rewards member or have been in the past, you can’t do this match.
Here’s the list of what casino programs match to Caesars Diamond.
Pro-tip: You can match your World of Hyatt Globalist status to MGM Gold. Here’s how to connect your Hyatt to MGM.
Earned Wyndham Diamond
Wyndham Diamond still matches to Caesars Diamond because of their partnership agreement.
But your Wyndham Diamond status will only match to Caesars Diamond if you earned your elite status by staying 24 nights at Wyndham hotels.
Or if you “earned” Wyndham Diamond via the Wyndham Rewards Earner Business Card.
You get Diamond status automatically when you have this card. The annual fee is only $95.
I have this card and feel the $95 annual fee is more than worth it for how often I visit Las Vegas. Even if you only go to Vegas once a year, the $95 is a lot less than paying resort fees.
Conclusion
Caesars Rewards is no longer matching you to Diamond if your Wyndham Diamond came from another tier match program.
You have to earn Wyndham Diamond through stays or by getting the Wyndham Rewards Earner Business Card.
This is now the only way Caesars will match to Wyndham.
