APT unveils 2022 Canada and Alaska programme

APT has launched its 2022 Canada and Alaska programme, to coincide with the reopening of Canadian borders on September 7.

The escorted touring specialist is also celebrating 30 years of operating in Canada.

The 2022 collection features the brand’s most popular ‘Luxury’ and ‘Essential’ tours by road, rail and cruise ship.

Paul Melinis, APT managing director, said: “Our agent partners have been eagerly awaiting Canada’s reopening and the sales opportunity that it represents.

“Because most of APT’s guests are fully vaccinated, the bucket-list destination is now fully accessible for our clients and we anticipate it being extremely popular for 2022 travel.

“We are guaranteeing our departures to help the trade sell with confidence.

“Together, we cannot wait to welcome our customers back to Canada and Alaska from May next year.”

APT’s Luxury 13-day Rockies Explorer itinerary, from Vancouver to Victoria, costs from £5,695 on a twin-share basis.

It includes a two-day Rocky Mountaineer rail journey in GoldLeaf Service (pictured) and the chance to meet a mountie in Banff.

APT Travelmarvel’s Essential 13-day Passage Through the Rockies itinerary, from Calgary to Vancouver, costs from £3,395 on a twin-share basis.

Clients can join a river safari to Grizzly Bear Valley and visit the Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary.

Each trip in the programme includes flights from the UK, accommodation and a tour director.

Departures run from May to September 2022.

There are early-booking discounts of £100 per person on all land itineraries and £150 on land and cruise itineraries, when booked before October 31.
