Celebrity Cruises releases ‘most ambitious programme ever’ for 2025-26

Celebrity Cruises has released its “most ambitious programme ever” for 2025-26.

The collection features more than 800 sailings to 290 destinations in 70 countries across seven continents on board the line’s fleet of 16 ships, including the fifth Edge-class ship, Celebrity Xcel, which is scheduled to enter service on December 3, 2025.

In Europe, Celebrity Apex (pictured) will once again homeport in Southampton, offering a range of Arctic Circle and Norwegian Fjords itineraries, while Celebrity Ascent sails a selection of seven to 11-night itineraries to Montenegro out of Barcelona and Rome.

Joining Celebrity Ascent in the Mediterranean will be Celebrity Equinox which will offer nine and 10-night itineraries in the Italian Riviera, Greek Islands, France, Spain and Portugal.

Celebrity Infinity and Celebrity Constellation will operate seven-night Greece and Turkey sailings from Athens as well as 10 and 11-night Italy and Croatia cruises from Rome and Ravenna, respectively.

The line will return to Amsterdam in 2025 with Celebrity Eclipse which will sail 12 and 13-night Best of Scandinavia cruises to destinations including Estonia and Finland.

For the first time, Celebrity Cruises will offer a “mini season” of four new seven-night sailings circumnavigating Iceland in July and August 2025 on board Celebrity Silhouette.

In the Caribbean, the line will homeport nine ships across four Florida ports during the winter season, and three ships during the summer season, including Celebrity Xcel which will make its debut offering seven-night itineraries from Fort Lauderdale.

Celebrity Cruises will have three ships in Alaska for the 2025-26 season with Celebrity Edge sailing from Seattle for its second summer season, and Celebrity Solstice and Celebrity Summit both sailing from either Vancouver or Seward.

Celebrity Millennium and Celebrity Solstice will both sail in Asia, with the former offering a 12-night Best of Japan itinerary and the latter operating 12-night Hong Kong, Vietnam and Thailand cruises.

Returning to South America in 2025-26, Celebrity Equinox will sail from Buenos Aires, while Celebrity Edge will be back in Australia with cruises to New Zealand.

European sailings for 2025-26 are on sale now, while Alaska and Australia itineraries go on sale on November 28, Caribbean, South America, Bermuda and Iceland cruises go on sale on December 5, and Asia sailings go on sale on December 12.

Managing director and EMEA vice-president Giles Hawke told Travel Weekly the staggered release will “give agents more time to push out marketing materials and to deal with customer demand before moving on”.

“We know demand is going to be significant so we want to make sure agents can handle it in tranches,” he added.

President Laura Hodges-Bethge said: “Our 2025-26 season is filled with opportunities to experience multiple countries through our Caribbean and European programme, visit bucket list destinations with sailings like our immersive Japan programme, and more.

“With our incredible ships in every corner of the world for guests to experience iconic places, take a short break to rejuvenate or explore stunning cultural and historic landmarks, Celebrity’s future vacation options are endless.”
