Celestyal Cruises eases Covid rules with immediate effect

Celestyal Cruises has removed all Covid vaccination and recovery certificate rules.

Passengers are still required to take a PCR or antigen test prior to embarkation for the remainder of 2022.

The line previously announced plans to drop vaccination and recovery certificate rules from March 2, 2023, however, it has brought forward those plans in line with advice from Greek health authorities.

From March next year, pre-embarkation tests will also be dropped meaning there will be no Covid rules for Celestyal sailings.

The company advises all guests aged 12 and over be fully vaccinated.

Chief commercial officer Leslie Peden said: “The health and safety of our guests, crew and the communities we serve is our top priority and we continue to monitor and adjust to the evolving global situation.

“We look forward to welcoming all guests for the immersive experience that we are known for and explore the unique destinations of the Greek islands and eastern Mediterranean.”
