Clia conference sells out in ‘record-breaking’ 48 hours

The 2024 Clia conference has sold out in a “record-breaking” 48 hours, with almost 600 places filled.

The association said it is hoping to offer additional spaces to meet demand and is encouraging all agents who missed out on a place to join the waiting list.

Andy Harmer, Clia UK & Ireland managing director, thanked the trade for its “incredible support” in booking places so quickly.

The event, which will be held from May 23-25 in Southampton, will include conference sessions, a trade fair, ship visits and a gala dinner.

“We’ve had a phenomenal response to next year’s conference and would like to thank the trade for their incredible support,” said Harmer.

“We’re thrilled with the record-breaking response that is testament to the growing popularity of cruise holidays.

“For agents who missed out, we ask that you join the waiting list and we hope to announce details as soon as we can of new places becoming available. We appreciate everyone’s patience.”
