Clia has opened membership for 2025 for agents in the UK and Ireland, with new exclusive benefits and events offered.
Members will be able to attend the RiverView Conference in March and Clia Conference in May, plus add-on events like the Expedition Summit or New to Selling the day before the main conference.
A new full-day event, The Art of Selling Cruises, will take place in the summer to provide support for agents wishing to grow cruise sales.
The Expedition Champion and River Champion hybrid learning programmes will run again for agent members in the second half of 2025.
Other events available to members to register include Clia’s Cruise Forum residential events with a focus on different sectors like river, expedition, luxury and yacht, sailing, traditional and small ship cruising.
Resources for members include access to the trade section of Clia’s website which has information on new-to-selling cruise, destination and itinerary factsheets, cruise line brand profiles, incentives, offers, and online training and certification.
There are also 25 virtual ship tours across ocean, river and expedition, and Clia Presents webinars on different cruise line brands and a monthly Focus On session to look at different sectors within the industry.
Andy Harmer, Clia UK and Ireland managing director, said: “As the cruise industry continues to attract record numbers of passengers and expands its range of destinations even further on an ever wider range of ships, we’re ensuring we provide agents with more insight, resources and in-person opportunities than ever before.
“2025 is set to mark another milestone year in the cruise calendar, and we’re looking forward to working even more closely with our fantastic agent partners to develop their expertise and help them inspire travellers with unforgettable experiences.”
