C&M boosts staff amid record travel recruitment demand

C&M Travel Recruitment has boosted its staffing following a rebound in demand for travel jobs.

The firm has seen interest reach a record high so far in 2022, with travel job vacancies rising by 185% from the same months last year and up by 22% from the last pre-pandemic year of 2019.

Jacky Docherty joins after spending two decades in business travel with both HRG and BCD Travel, before starting her own recruitment desk focusing on corporate travel.

Her arrival follows Lisa Haynes joining in February and the return of  Shannon O’Flaherty and Alex McLeish to the company last December.

C&M managing director Barbara Kolosinska said: “We’ve known Jacky for many years and have always held her in high regard, so we’re delighted that she’s agreed to join us.

“The demand for travel talent has never been higher, with almost all travel companies searching for new recruits this year. So we’re really excited to add Jacky to the C&M team where she will use her 30 years of combined travel and recruitment experience to help all of her travel clients.”

Docherty added: “After taking some time away from the industry during the pandemic, I missed travel very much. I’m really excited to have now started my journey with C&M, be part of a great team and be back in the industry I love.”
