Helen Wang joins the international law firm from Mayer Brown and will focus on the formation, maintenance and restructuring of investment funds, including private equity funds, hedge funds and hybrid funds.

International law firm CMS has hired Helen Wang as a partners in its funds practice in Hong Kong from Mayer Brown, where she had been counsel from November 2021 to September 2024, according to he rLinkedIn profile.

Wang’s practice focuses on all aspects of the formation, maintenance and restructuring of investment funds, including private equity funds, hedge funds and hybrid funds. Wang advises asset managers, banks, state-owned enterprises, professional trustees and fund administrators, as well as family offices and startups, across the Asia Pacific region in Hong Kong, mainland China, Taiwan, Japan and Australia.
