Cunard plans to meet more than 250 travel agents across more than 60 stores this month as part of its first nationwide “sales blitz” of 2025.
A five-strong team will tour UK high streets from February 17-28 to pass on news about the cruise line’s promotion for selected 2025 voyages.
Other topics will include plans for Cunard’s return to Liverpool this year, with Queen Anne arriving in the city on May 26 – a year on from the ship’s naming ceremony.

Tom Mahoney, director of UK sales at Cunard, said it is vital travel agents are able to sell Cunard effectively, adding: “We are as committed as ever to working together to create unforgettable experiences for our mutual customers, and these visits are a brilliant opportunity for the Cunard team to learn more about our travel agent partners, while providing key brand direction and enhancing our relationships.”
Mahony will lead the sales visits, during which he will be joined by business manager John Garbutt and regional sales managers Savannah Fryer and James Atherton.
In addition to visits to high street stores, the tour will include stops at three head offices – those of Sovereign Cruise Club in Reading, Panache Cruises in Chorley and Gold Medal in Leyland.
Mahoney said: “Queen Anne’s launch has been a huge step forward for the brand and as we evolve the way we communicate the Cunard difference, it is key that our travel agent partners can effectively sell Cunard as an iconic luxury brand, without compromise.”
He added: “The future of luxury travel is incredibly bright, which is why we can’t wait to get on the road and showcase our extraordinary Cunard fleet and unique on board experiences.”
The cruise line has also revealed it will give 10 agents a chance to take part in an exclusive masterclass with Michelin-starred chef Nathan Outlaw on March 12 at Chewton Glen hotel in Hampshire.
The line will also invite 17 agents partners to see Pride & Prejudice* (*sort of) at venues in London and Glasgow.
The London show will take place at Richmond Theatre on February 26, with the Glasgow edition scheduled for the Theatre Royal on March 6. Winners will be notified from February 10.
