Day 3 ~ Commentary
The Temple and grounds yesterday radiated golden light. Inside, the light of the Dharma of Gen-la's teachings filled our hearts, while outside the light of the sun Illuminated the trees.

Bringing all our experiences into the liberating path
After granting a sublime empowerment, Gen-la began a commentary to the practice of Tara based on the sadhana Liberation from Sorrow.
These beautiful teachings sounded like they came from Venerable Geshe-la himself - always authentic and always practical.
Throughout, Gen-la emphasised the need not just to gain spiritual knowledge, precious as it may be, but to turn this unto genuine spiritual experience. As Gen-la said:
"Spiritual knowledge does not protect us; it has to be spiritual experience."
