A graduate student meets the latest object of her affection — who also happens to be the wife of a man she’s having an affair with — in Women and Hollywood’s exclusive clip of “Anaïs in Love,” Charline Bourgeois-Tacquet’s French comedy about an unlikely love triangle.

“Are you Emilie Ducret?” Anaïs (Anaïs Demoustier, “Marguerite & Julien”) asks a woman on the street (Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, “It’s Easier for a Camel…”). “What a coincidence! I’m reading one of your books,” she tells the novelist. Anaïs flatters Emilie’s writing style, describing it as “dazzling.” She also mentions knowing her husband — but omits the fact that she’s sleeping with him. The two swap compliments about one another’s beauty, but it’s Anaïs’ eyes that linger on Emilie.

“Anaïs in Love” hits theaters April 29 and on demand May 6. It marks Bourgeois-Tacquet’s feature directorial debut. She also penned the film’s script.
