Hays Travel Independence group signs Disabled Holidays
New member specialises in accessible travel
Hays Travel Independence Group has signed a new member which specialises in accessible travel in the UK and overseas, as well as cruises.
The company can trace its roots to 2001, when it was established as The Disabled Holiday Directory.
In 2010, it became Disabled Holidays but had to close in February 2021 because of the pandemic.
The management of DisabledHolidays.com reacquired the website from the liquidators of the business and began the process of rebuilding the business.
Kelly Green, Hays Travel business development manager, met director Paul Nadin in spring 2022 to discuss ways that the Hays Travel IG group could support the business and help get their customers travelling overseas again after the pandemic.
“I recently had the pleasure of spending the day at their offices and can honestly say that the customer and their needs is always at the heart of everything they do,” said Green.
Nadin commented: “We identified Hays Travel as the best fit for our discerning customer base, having a number of exclusive partnerships for our market and sharing the values we feel are so important for our niche business.
“Their membership team has been so helpful assisting us with the transition, training us to use their systems and providing useful advice.
“What has most impressed me is that the way they do business is so personable and friendly. We look forward to growing our business with the support of this exciting partnership.”
His co-director Bethany Nadin added: “We are delighted to join the Hays Travel group, and to be able to offer our customers a wider range of holiday options through this partnership.
“Hays Travel IG have been so helpful with the set-up and understanding of our niche business.”
