Helen Caron to leave Tui Group after 24 years
Product chief will remain as advisor for Care Foundation
Tui Group director of product & purchasing Helen Caron is to leave the business after a 24-year career with the travel giant.
Caron will leave her role at the end of September but will continue ties with the company as an independent advisor and trustee of its Tui Care Foundation.
She has been a member of Tui’s markets & airlines leadership team for the past seven years, leading planning and sourcing worldwide.
Prior to that, she was managing director of Tui UK’s cruise division and was on the Tui UK & Ireland board as distribution director.
Tui did not confirm a successor in a statement confirming the departure.
Caron said: “I’ve been privileged to lead some amazing international teams at Tui. I am immensely proud of all that we have achieved and grateful to everyone who has supported me.
“I am also honored that Thomas Ellerbeck and the Tui Care Foundation team would like me to continue to work with them, as I passionately believe in the important work they do.
“I wish my colleagues every success in the future.”
