Homeworking business Your Endless Travel launches recruitment drive

Homeworking business Your Endless Travel will launch a special offer in October to encourage agents to sign up.

Ross Griffiths and Luke Skinner, co-owners of the agency, will be offering two new tiers to their pricing structure which means agents can start their own travel agency for free if they sign up before the end of the year.

The recruitment drive comes four months after Your Endless Travel became a member of Protected Trust Services.

Griffiths launched Your Endless Travel with the support of The Holiday Franchise Company – part of Holidaysplease – in 2020.

Skinner was previously a Holidaysplease homeworker but decided to team with Griffiths after the agency was taken over by Travel Counsellors.

The pair had met during a networking walk where they live in Hay-on-Wye.

They aim to recruit 20 homeworkers to their business over the next six months.

Skinner has been an agent since September 2001, starting his travel career with Dial-a-flight followed by 18 years with Holidaysplease.

Griffiths has been in travel for 15 years, working for Gullivers Travel and travel businesses in Australia, Canada and Japan.

They recently recruited Katie Hollinshead as product and operations manager and homeworking agent Suzy O’Sullivan. Another homeworker, based in the northwest, is due to start in October.

Homeworkers can earn up to 50% commission on enquiries generated by Your Endless Travel marketing.

Agents can earn up to 70% commission on their own leads, from existing clients, referrals or their own marketing.

“PTS is the right fit for us, it gives us more flexibility,” said Griffiths, during the PTS conference in Warwickshire.

“We have our own Atol and a large database of direct contracts with suppliers and DMCs so homeworkers have the flexibility to dynamically package to fit their own interests.

“The tech from PTS is good for us, it is going in the right direction.”

Currently they are targeting existing travel sellers, plus those wanting to return to travel, or people from other travel sectors, such as air cabin crew and operators.

He said they plan to develop internal mentors who will be rewarded for helping less experienced agents and offer face-to-face training.

“When we have a core of experienced agents, we can open up to new-to-travel with a more extensive training package and one-to-one relationship with a mentor,” he added.

They will also offer a development pathway, enabling agents to develop their skills, mentor others, build a niche and even their own brand, if they want to.

Meanwhile, Griffiths is also developing his own specialist tour operation, offering BBQ-themed holidays in destinations such as South Africa and the Americas.

This has been developed thanks to a special interest of his – and he hopes this venture will encourage agents with niche ideas to also take the leap and follow his example.
