The NBA is back. The 78th NBA regular season tips off today, October 24, with five days of doubleheaders. First up, reigning NBA champion Denver Nuggets host the Los Angeles Lakers before Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors take on Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns on opening night.

The regular season is jam-packed with 82 games, including the All-Star Game in February, and concludes with the NBA Finals in June. New this year is the inaugural In-Season Tournament starting in November. 30 teams will compete in a format similar to European soccer tournaments, vying for the new NBA Cup.

NBA fans looking to stream basketball games will need access to a few different services to catch all the action. Here's everything you need to know about how to watch NBA games in 2023.

How to Watch NBA Games Online

NBA games air nationally across ABC, ESPN, TNT and NBA TV. Games will also air on local channels, so NBA League Pass is a great way to catch every out-of-market game that isn't airing on your local channels. If you don't have cable, there are several options for streaming the 2023-24 NBA season.

Sling TV

The best way to watch NBA games without cable is through a live TV streaming subscription to Sling TV. Right now, there is a Sling TV deal offering 50% off your first month — bringing the Orange package with TNT and ESPN down to just $20, the Blue plan with your local ABC to $22.50, and the comprehensive Orange + Blue package down to $30.

For NBA TV, you'll also need the $11 Sports Extras add-on. Sling TV comes with 50 hours of free cloud-based DVR recording space, perfect for recording all the season's top NBA games.

FuboTV

With Fubo's sports-focused live TV streaming service, you'll have nearly every channel you'll need to watch the 2023-24 NBA regular season. Every game broadcast nationally, with the exception of those on TNT, will also be available to stream on Fubo, which comes with 1,000 hours of cloud DVR storage and a seven-day free trial.

You can pay an extra $11 per month for the Sports Plus add-on to get the NBA TV channel. FuboTV also offers NBA League Pass for $14.99 a month as an add-on.

Hulu + Live TV

For NBA games on ESPN, TNT, and ABC, you can stream them on Hulu + Live TV. Stream NBA games or watch on-demand whenever and wherever you want.
