HRS has integrated data from safety and security assessment provider GeoSure into its lodging and meetings procurement service, the company announced.
With the integration, HRS procurement technology users now can see security scores generated by GeoSure's technology alongside other elements, including price, satisfaction scores and sustainability, HRS said. GeoSure's platform uses national, regional and local data to create constantly updated neighborhood safety scores for more than 65,000 cities around the world, including scores specific to safety for women, crime, daytime and evening security and diversity ratings for LGBTQ+ travelers.
"Security concerns are more prominent than ever as corporate hotel program leaders incorporate numerous factors into their lodging decision-making processes," HRS CEO Tobias Ragge said in a statement. "We're all striving to elevate the business traveler's experience on the road; that starts only with the confidence that their company is recommending audited hotels in safe neighborhoods."
