Intensive Teacher Training Program 2024 Drawing to an end

Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche created the Teacher Training Program to ensure that Kadampa Teachers around the world will continually improve their correct understanding of Kadam Dharma, pure moral discipline, and teaching skills to become a pure example for others to learn from and follow.

Intensive Teacher Training Program 2024 - Group Photo

This year at the Mother Center, Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Center, many Resident Teachers from around the world came to study and meditate on the meaning of the ninth and tenth chapters of Guide to the Bodhisattva's Way of Life by Shantideva and its commentary, Meaningful to Behold by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

The first Temple for World Peace welcomed 180 Teachers, where every day for three weeks, they increased their wisdom and practice of Dharma with Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab, retired General Spiritual Director of the NKT-IKBU.

The last class of the course took place on Saturday, July 20 with a group discussion.

The final class was followed by a weekend of Festival and exam preparations. Teachers assembled on Tuesday, July 23 in the dining marquee, to make an excellent offering to Venerable Geshe-la. Focused but relaxed, everyone joined together for an exam, concluding their ITTP for this year.

Our Resident Teachers have offered their perspectives on the recent three-week course. Browse the photo gallery, which captures the journey of study, laughter, and community bonding through their eyes.
