Jet2 ‘continually reviewing’ Rhodes plans for next week
Flights and holidays cancelled until Sunday in response to wildfires
Jet2 is “continually reviewing” the wildfire situation in Rhodes as it prepares to update customers due to travel after July 30.
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have already cancelled all flights and holidays to Rhodes up to and including Sunday.
A spokesperson said a further announcement will be made “in due course”.

They said: “For customers due to travel to Rhodes beyond Sunday, July 30, we are continually reviewing the situation and will provide an update in due course. We will make this decision with the best interests of our customers in mind.”
Jet.com operated four repatriation flights and six scheduled services back to the UK on Monday (July 24), with further repatriation flights being run on Tuesday alongside nine scheduled flights.
The Jet2 spokesperson said: “We know that many of our customers have been through an incredibly difficult time, and we are truly sorry to hear this.
“Although extraordinary events such as these are completely outside of our control, our total focus is on looking after our customers and colleagues.”
On Monday, around 1,000 displaced customers either flew back to the UK or were moved to hotels in unaffected areas, Jet2 said, with repatriations continuing on Tuesday in tandem with its scheduled services from the island.
Customers affected by the cancellations up to July 30 have been contacted about their refund and rebooking options.
The spokesperson added: “We continue to fly aircraft to Rhodes with no customers onboard, so that we can bring our customers back to the UK on their scheduled flights, as well as any additional Jet2 customers who wish to return to the UK.”
