Another band member initiated the mandatory service for the military. After Jin, J-Hope put a hold on his music career and joined the military.
In South Korea, it’s a mandatory ritual that abled men aged 18 to 35 must join the military once in life for over 18 to 22 months. This rule ensures military stability due to ongoing tension with North Korea that began in the 1950s with the Korean War.
Jin has already joined the military in December. However, the rest of the band members will join it in the coming years.
J-Hope began his services on the 18th of April. J-Hope, or you can say Jung Ho-Seok has to keep him low profile even while joining the military enlistment ceremony in Wonju. Before his departure, BTS members bid this South Korean boy an emotional farewell.

Later, those photos took social media by storm when different group members posted them on Twitter and Instagram. RM, the leader of this band, and Jung Hoseok also posted these heart-warming photos on the Internet.
Seeing this, fans were smeared off with emotional sentiment after listening to this BTS news.
Although many believe that BTS may get an exemption from this national duty, the Military Manpower administrator confirmed their military duty. Later in 2019, the Ministry of Defence issued an official statement, giving no exemption to BTS regarding their big responsibility towards the nation.
Besides, J-Hope education and physical capacities play a constructive role in his military inclusion.
