Judges announced for 2023 Ad Age Small Agency Awards
Winners will be announced in late July.
Ad Age today announces its jury panel for its Small Agency Awards, the only event of its kind in the industry that recognizes independent shops with 150 or fewer employees.
This year's judges include a who's who of marketing from agencies around the country; they will judge Campaigns of the Year in categories including business-to-business, experiential, digital, health care, integrated, media and pro bono.
This year's all-star lineup includes Chris Breen, chief creative officer at Chemistry; Omid Farhang, founder and CEO of Majority; Ryan Ford, president and chief creative officer, Cashmere; Tim Gordon, chief creative officer and partner, Zulu Alpha Kilo, New York; Sandy Greenberg, co-founder and CEO, Terri & Sandy; Nancy Hill, CEO of Marcus Thomas; Susie Nam, CEO, Droga5 Americas; Suzanne Powers, global chief product officer, McCann Worldgroup, chair of Futurebrand; and Danny Robinson, chief creative officer at The Martin Agency.
Three additional judges will be announced soon.
“We are excited to have such a high-caliber judging panel for one of our most important awards shows of the year,” said Ad Age Executive Editor Judy Pollack. “These judges represent some of the most creative agencies in the country and hail from agencies both big and small. It is a distinct honor that they will be part of our judging team.”
In addition to Campaigns of the Year, the Ad Age Small Agency Awards recognizes the best indie agencies in the U.S. awarded by employee size, region and discipline as judged by Ad Age editors. This year categories have been added including Design Agency of the Year, PR Agency of the Year, Healthcare Agency of the Year and Executive of the Year. There is also an award for International Agency of the Year and Newcomer of the Year.
Other than Executive of the Year, there are other people categories including Creative of the Year, Account Manager of the Year; Media Planner of the Year and Strategic Planner of the Year.
Winners will be announced at an awards show capping the Ad Age's Small Agency of the Year Conference, which will be held this year on Aug. 24-25 in Atlanta.
