Happy Birthday, Prince George! The young royal rings in his 11th birthday on Monday, July 22, with mom Kate Middleton sharing a new portrait for the occasion.

The Prince and Princess of Wales posted the pic on their official social media channels with celebratory wishes for the pre-teen. In the black-and-white image, George smiles for the camera while seated and wearing a classic black suit and a white shirt with an open top button.

"Wishing Prince George a very happy 11th birthday today!" the caption reads, alongside a photo credit for Middleton.

George is the eldest child of Kate and Prince William, who wed in 2011. Together, the couple are also parents to Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.

Earlier this month, George and William enjoyed a father-son day out at the Euro Final match in Berlin, Germany, while Kate and Charlotte took attended Wimbledon in London.

At one point, William was spotted bending down to George's level as they shared a moment and discussed the game, which ultimately went to Spain in a 2-1 upset.

Meanwhile, Kate's outing with her daughter marked her second public appearance since announcing her cancer diagnosis in March.

The outings come just weeks after William's father, King Charles III -- who also underwent treatments for cancer earlier this year -- hilariously referred to his grandkids in a speech with his son in attendance.

During a welcome dinner for Japanese Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako, cameras caught William giving his father a smirk after he joked about his rambunctious crop of grandchildren while he recounted his experiences spending time with Naruhito in the past.

"I am only sorry to report that I haven't had any better luck with more recent attempts at fishing," Charles shared as he read from his prepared speech. "The Pokémon phrase 'gotta catch 'em all' may resonate with my grandchildren, but for me it is, perhaps, aspirational."

Last year, royal expert Katie Nicholl told ET that George's life is "surprisingly normal."

"George is absolutely aware of the role that lies ahead of him," she said. "He knows that his father will be king next and after that, he will be crowned king. Who knows what the landscape is going to look like then, but he's absolutely aware of his destiny."

She continued, "At the same time, William and Kate are very anxious not to burden him with that weight of responsibility about his future role. So I think what they're trying to do is raise him with that balance of normality."
