Additionally, Mexican singer Christian Nodal will be recognized with the Extraordinary Evolution award, and will give a special performance. The Latin AMAs Extraordinary Evolution award is a special honor presented to a young performer who has demonstrated change and accelerated growth as an artist. Other artists who previously received this recognition include Maluma in 2018, Becky G in 2019 and Ozuna in 2021.
Nodal, 23, enjoyed a rapid rise to success since he burst onto the music scene at the age of 17, breaking new ground with his own style that fuses classical Mariachi sounds with exquisite dashes of accordion. This has given the world of Mexican music a new twist to this world-renowned sound, now converted by this talented artist into "Mariacheño," and is enjoyed by audiences of all ages.
